As an industry underpinned by data, the executive search profession will be dramatically impacted by the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) from May 2018. At this executive breakfast briefing event for C-level search professionals, three specialist speakers will share their insights on the latest developments to the GDPR, the key areas for consideration for executive search and the practical steps you can take to ensure compliance. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to pose any data protection questions to our expert panelists.

Renzo Marchini, Partner - Privacy, Security and Information, Fieldfisher

Renzo is a partner in Fieldfisher's leading privacy, security and information team, with over 20 years' experience in advising clients on technology and privacy across sectors. He has also been data protection officer of a major international law firm. Renzo regularly lectures and writes on data protection and cloud. The second edition of his book Cloud Computing: A Practical Introduction to the Legal Issues was published in 2015.

Andy Warren, Chief Information Security Officer and CFO, Invenias

Andy is Chief Information Security Officer and CFO for Invenias and has considerable experience and expertise in the field of data security and transfer. He was a founding member of the Information Systems Audit division at EY and was responsible for IT Audit and security for UK and Europe for Philips Electronics. Andy has worked across the Telecoms and ISP industry and was part of the original BT Broadband team, Freeserve, Wanadoo and Centric Telecom with particular focus and responsibility for data security and transfer. More recently he was on the iAB Working Party for EU Data Privacy Self Regulation of Mobile Advertising and responsible for data privacy and monitoring in mobile advertising as COO EMEA for Opera Mediaworks, the largest global mobile ad platform.

Helen has 20 years' experience working on operational issues in leading executive search firms, having spent 8 years at Egon Zehnder and 10 years at Odgers Berndtson, where she was a Partner. Since setting up her consultancy, she has worked with a range of UK and global clients. Earlier this year she developed a GDPR toolkit with CMS Law. As a Director of ComplyGDPR, she is leading a team of executive search professionals assist companies prepare for the May 2018 deadline.
